Broadman, former Commerce Department Senior Advisor, Kevin Gallagher, and former General Dynamics Vice President, Col. Kevin Merrigan, USA (Ret.), have joined the firm as Senior Advisors. With their deep expertise spanning a range of global economics, trade policy, and defense acquisition matters, they will provide clients with unparalleled understanding of critical business issues in an evolving geopolitical and government policy landscape.
Harry is currently Senior Economist at the RAND Corporation and serves on several corporate boards. Additionally, he is a monthly contributor to Forbes, writing on global business leadership strategy, and is the national security columnist for the International Finance Law Review. He has considerable industry experience spanning private equity investment, transaction structuring, supply chain management, and innovation. In addition to his service in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, Harry was Chief of Staff of the President’s Council of Economic Advisors and spent more than 14 years at the World Bank advising on sovereign finance and enterprise restructuring in emerging markets.
Kevin Gallagher most recently served as Senior Advisor to Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo. His work at Commerce spanned a range of the Department’s domestic and global responsibilities, including emerging technologies, supply chains, workforce development and economic competitiveness. He was Secretary Raimondo’s point person for the Biden Administration’s ‘Internet for All Initiative’, working to expand access to high-speed Internet across the U.S. Prior to his time at the U.S. Department of Commerce, Kevin served as Senior Deputy Chief of Staff to Raimondo during her time as Governor of Rhode Island.
Kevin Merrigan is presently a Consultant with MK Advisors, a technology and climate change response advisory firm focused on advancing equitable solutions in developing nations. He previously spent more than 13 years in progressively senior technical and business leadership roles at General Dynamics, working on C4ISR and battle management systems, before taking over as Vice President in charge of Department of Defense business development. Before entering the private sector, Kevin served with distinction for 24 years as an infantry and special operations officer in the U.S. Army.
